Framework
Confidence
Real confidence is built, not wished for. It comes from evidence you collected on purpose, not from hoping you feel good when the game starts.
The core idea
Fake confidence needs everything to go right. Real confidence survives a bad start because it is anchored to preparation, not to makes and misses. If your confidence disappears after two missed shots, it was never confidence. It was mood.
How to train it
- Stack small, specific proofs in practice: one move, one spot, one read.
- Bring exactly those proofs into games. Nothing untested.
- Judge yourself on process after bad games, not just the score.
